We currently have three graded vocal choirs that are open to children ages 4 through 12th grade.
Our youngest choir is for children ages 4-Kindergarten. It meets on Sunday mornings from 10:30-10:50. This choir presents musical offerings for our 9:30 a.m. traditional services several times during the school year.
This choir meets on Sunday afternoons beginning at 5:00 p.m. during the school year. Children participate in a worship activity and have snack from 5:00-5:30 p.m. This is followed by choir rehearsal from 5:30-6:15. This choir presents anthems and service music for our traditional worship services once a month, participates in Festival of Christmas, and presents a spring musical.
Youth choir meets from 5:00-5:30 on Sunday afternoons during the school year. They sing for worship approximately once a month, as well as for special services such as Festival of Christmas and Ash Wednesday.
This choir is for children in grades 3-5. Children learn basic music techniques while learning to play handbells in a liturgical setting. Rehearsals are Sunday evenings from 6:15-7:00 during the school year.
This choir is for students in grades 6-8. Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 during the school year. They present pieces during traditional worship on a monthly basis, present special programs to local nursing homes and retirement communities throughout the year.
